Support Routes for Enclosure Projects

Every rack order moves through the same gate: a clear question, a direct answer, and a documented path to the next step. Here is how to reach the team and what response time to expect.

Still deciding which enclosure fits your deployment?

Send us your rack dimensions, load requirements, and site conditions. Our engineers will reply with a recommended steel profile and cooling layout.

Enclosure Questions, Straight Answers

Common queries about steel server housings, cooling layouts, and what happens after you send an enquiry.

Ask a specific question
What steel gauge do you use for standard server racks?

Our standard enclosures use 1.5 mm cold-rolled steel for the frame and 1.2 mm for the panels. If you need extra rigidity for seismic zones or high-vibration floors, we can step up to 2.0 mm on the main uprights. Tell us the environment and we will confirm the right spec before production.

Can you match existing rack dimensions from another vendor?

Yes. We regularly build replacements for legacy racks where the original supplier no longer offers spares. Send us the mounting hole pattern, overall height, and depth, and we will check compatibility with your current cabling and cooling layout. A quick drawing or photo is enough to start.

How do you handle airflow for high-density server loads?

For dense deployments we fit perforated front and rear doors with adjustable fan trays, plus blanking panels to stop hot air recirculating. If your room runs above 30 kW per rack, we will recommend a cold-aisle containment profile and position the vents accordingly. The enclosure is built around your cooling plan, not the other way round.

What locking options are available beyond a standard key lock?

We offer swing handles with interchangeable cylinder cores, electronic locks with keypad or RFID access, and tamper switches that trigger an alarm if the door is forced. For telecom sites with remote monitoring, we can wire the lock status into your existing management system.

Do you supply enclosures for outdoor telecom cabinets?

We do. Outdoor housings use a heavier galvanised frame, sealed cable entries, and a weatherproof roof with drip channels. If the cabinet sits in direct sun, we add passive ventilation or a thermostatically controlled fan kit. Let us know the climate and whether the unit is shaded or exposed.

How long does a custom enclosure take to build?

A standard rack with minor modifications ships in about three weeks. Fully custom housings with special cutouts, reinforced bases, or integrated cooling take five to six weeks depending on the batch size. We will give you a firm lead time after we review the drawings, and we stick to it.
