What steel gauge do you use for standard server housings?

Our standard enclosures start at 1.6 mm cold-rolled steel for the frame and 1.2 mm for panels. For telecom sites exposed to vibration or rough handling, we step up to 2.0 mm on the load-bearing members. Every unit is powder-coated after welding, so the finish holds up in humid or dusty environments.

Can you build enclosures to fit non-standard rack depths?

Yes. Our fabrication line handles custom depths from 600 mm to 1200 mm without changing the overall design. We adjust the vertical rails, cable management channels, and rear door clearance to match your equipment. Send us the server or switch dimensions and we will confirm the layout before production.

How do you handle cooling in sealed outdoor cabinets?

Outdoor cabinets use a combination of filtered fan trays and heat exchangers, depending on the expected ambient temperature. We calculate airflow based on the total heat load of your installed hardware, not just the cabinet volume. For high-density setups, we can add side-mounted cooling units that bolt directly to the enclosure frame.

What access control options are available on the doors?

Every enclosure ships with a three-point locking handle as standard. If you need electronic access, we integrate RFID readers, keypad modules, or a central controller that logs each entry. The lock mechanism is recessed into the door frame so it stays protected from tampering and weather.

Do you provide cable management as part of the enclosure?

Yes. Vertical cable managers with hinged covers are included on both sides of the rack. We also fit horizontal brush strips at the front and rear of each U position. If you run fibre or high-voltage power in the same cabinet, we can separate the pathways with a metal divider.

What is the lead time for a batch of custom enclosures?

Standard models ship within three weeks. Custom batches with modified dimensions or additional cutouts usually take five to six weeks, including the powder-coating stage. We send a production drawing for approval before any steel is cut, so there are no surprises at delivery.
