Onboarding sequence

From first call to a rack that passes site acceptance

See enclosure capabilities

Site survey and load sheet

We start with your floor plan, cabinet count, and power budget. You send the rack elevations and any seismic or IP-rating requirements that apply to the building.

Steel spec and cooling layout

Our engineers match gauge, vent pattern, and fan placement to the heat load you actually run. You get a drawing with weld points, door swing, and cable entry positions marked.

Prototype fit-out

Before full production we assemble one unit with your rails, PDUs, and cable managers. This catches clearance problems while the design is still cheap to change.

Batch fabrication and weld inspection

Production runs in batches with weld checks at the start of each shift. Paint thickness and door alignment are measured on every tenth frame, not just the first one.

Crush test and packing

Each enclosure is loaded to its rated weight before it leaves the floor. Units ship on skids with corner protectors, and the packing list matches the serial numbers in your asset register.

On-site handover

Our crew levels the frames, torques the floor bolts, and verifies door operation with your facilities team. You sign off against the same load sheet we started from.

Support channels and response times

How to reach the enclosure team

Channel / Phone

Direct line for urgent rack issues

Call 0111 1859 during business hours (AEST) if a server housing is down or a telecom enclosure needs immediate attention. We pick up within four rings and log a ticket before the call ends.

Channel / Email

Written specs and drawings

Send your enclosure dimensions, steel gauge preference, and cooling layout to info@meilleurlogementneuf.com. A design engineer replies within one business day with fitment questions or a fabrication timeline.

SLA / Response

48-hour technical review

For custom housings, we confirm feasibility and lead time within two working days. Standard catalog enclosures ship with a fixed delivery window, and every order includes a structural test report.

SLA / On-site

Field support across Australia

If a rack needs re-racking or a cabinet door alignment is off, our technicians can visit your data center or telecom hut. Travel is scheduled within five business days of the request.

FAQ / Common

Before you ask about lead times

Most questions cover steel thickness, IP ratings, and fan tray compatibility. The FAQ page lists standard dimensions and load limits so you can shortlist enclosures before contacting us.

FAQ / Process

What happens after a quote

Once you approve the spec sheet, we issue a fabrication schedule and a sample weld coupon for your review. Production starts only after you sign off on the material certificate.

How onboarding works for a steel enclosure order

Before we cut a single sheet of steel, we map the physical constraints of your site, the rack load, and the access path. That is the part that decides whether a housing fits through the door and survives the environment.

Site survey before drawings

We start with the actual room: door widths, floor loading, ceiling height, and the route from the delivery truck to the final position. If a 42U enclosure cannot turn a corner, we know it before the CAD work begins.

Load and cooling profile

You send us the expected hardware weight, heat output, and airflow direction. We match the steel gauge, vent pattern, and fan placement to that specific load, not to a generic catalog spec.

Access and security checklist

We confirm who needs physical access, which doors require electronic locks, and whether tamper alarms must integrate with your existing network. This step defines the lock core, handle type, and sensor wiring.

Prototype review in our workshop

For non-standard housings, we build a single unit first. You inspect the weld quality, door seal, and cable entry points in person or via a live video walkthrough. Changes are made on the prototype, not after a full batch.

Delivery and installation window

We agree on a delivery date that fits your maintenance window. Our crew handles the rigging, levelling, and anchoring. You get a handover note with torque values and a contact for follow-up adjustments.
